STINNETT - Rosary for Benito R. Martinez, 83, of Scott's Acres, will be at 7 p.m. today in Brown's Chapel of the Fountains.

Mass will be recited at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Neyer, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Martinez died Tuesday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Mosquero, N.M., he had been a Stinnett resident for 10 years. He was a retired rancher.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sophie Martinez in 1974.

Survivors include two sons, Benny Martinez of Woodward, Okla., and Nick Martinez of Amarillo; two daughters, Mrs. Janie Witt of Stinnett and Mrs. Pat Harris of Magnolia, Ark.; and nine grandchildren.
