BORGER - Donnie Mashburn, 66, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Mashburn was born in Pampa and had been a Borger resident for 62 years. During the Korean War, he served in the Marines. He was an operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. for 36 years and was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Don Ray Mashburn Jr., and a daughter, Taira Lyn Mashburn.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mashburn; a son, Dell Ray Mashburn of Amarillo; a daughter, Tanya Davis of Dumas; a sister, Charlene Woods of Skellytown and five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Gideon's Bibles.
