Borger Daily Herald - March 28, 1939
Harry A. Murphy, 33, died yesterday morning in an Amarillo hospital, following a major operation.
The Murphys have lived in this locale for the last 11 years.
Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Carver Brothers, with the Rev. B. B. Ketchum officiating.
Murphy is survived by his widow and three sons, James, 13, Billie, 9, and Bobby, 8. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Mary Ellen Rutherford, three brothers Raymond and Arthur of Borger, Elbert of Waterford, Calif., and a sister, Mrs. Lela Hale of Borger.
