*Obituary
AMARILLO - Howard C. Pruitt, 68, of Amarillo died Wednesday in the Veterans Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger with Mr. Richard Kasko, minister of the Gardner Street Church of Christ officiating.
A native of Lubbock, he came to Borger in 1954, and moved to Amarillo four and a half years ago.
He was a retired shop foreman for B&C Well Service. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a World War II Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Betty of the home; a daughter, Betty Warren of Amarillo; two sons, Clifford Pruitt of Amarillo; and Frank Pruitt, of Loma Linda, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Burial will be by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
