FRITCH - Orval Lee Purdy, 52, of 308 S. Longwood in Fritch died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1988 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
A machinist, he was a native of Motley County and a Fritch resident since 1982.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Johnston of Houston and Debbie Purdy of Minnesota; six brothers, Gerald Purdy and Tom Purdy, both of Fritch, Raymond Purdy of Plainview, Ray Purdy of Sunray, Cleave Purdy of Pampa and Bud Purdy of Idalou; two sisters, Barbara Anderson of Tyler and Jean Reinhardt of Kress; his mother, Beatrice Purdy of Fritch and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Ed Doughty, Bethel Baptist Church, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.
