Borger News Herald - September 20, 1978
Clifton W. Rouse, Sr., 63, was pronounced dead on arrival at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday at North Plains Hospital.
Mr. Rouse had been a resident of Borger for 38 years. He was a retired painting contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia, of the home; four sons, Clifton Jr., Tulsa, Okla.; James, Amarillo; Danny, Boulder, Colo.; and Don, of Garland. Also surviving are two brothers, Dean, Valparaiso, Ind.; Rip, Cheyenne, Wyo.; one sister, Mrs. Thelma Holder, Beggs, Okla.; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ed Brown and Sons Chapel of the Fountains. Officiating will be Dr. Charles Thrasher, pastor of the First Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Highland Park Cemetery, under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Directors.
