Funeral services for Jim Shaw, 85, of 910 N. Hedgecoke have been set for Monday at 2 p.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church with interim pastor, the Rev. W.R. Lawrence and the Rev. Larry Miller, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Mr. Shaw died Friday evening at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
He had lived in Borger for the past 38 years and was a retired car dealer. He was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church, a member of the McQuire Masonic Lodge at Oil Trough, Ark., the Khiva Shrine Temple, the Tri-City Scottish Rite Association, the Borger Shrine Club, the Disabled Veterans of World War I and a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline of the home; two sons, James Calvin Shaw of Borger and Winfred R. Shaw of Andrews; three daughters, Mrs. Vanetta Gallion of Borger, Mrs. Betty Dawson of Borger and Mrs. Joyce McLaughlin of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Neva Herd of Pontiac, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jim Shaw, Dick Shaw, Mike Shaw, David Shaw, Rudy Chambliss, Mark Dawson, Dane Dawson, and Kenny Barnes. Graveside rites will be under the auspices of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge No. 1355. Masons are asked to meet at the Masonic Hall at 1 p.m. Monday.
