*Obituary
Paul Shannon Sisneros left this earth to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Gregg Kinch of Southlawn Baptist Church officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

This gift from God arrived on Christmas Eve 1964. We all knew he was here for a special reason. Paul was born with Cerebral Palsy and although he would never walk or talk as the rest of us, he touched the lives of all who knew and met him. Paul knew no stranger and could share his joy of life through his special way of communicating with his beautiful dark eyes. He enjoyed activities that many of us take for granted such as horse back riding, snowmobiling, and trips to the amusement park. He enjoyed country music and football. He was big Texas Tech and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved spending time and doing things with his family and friends.

Paul attended the Hughen/Bob Hope School for Crippled Children in Port Arthur, Lubbock State School and Bethphage Mission in Lubbock, and Community Options Group Home in Amarillo. He attended Southlawn Baptist Church in Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis and Leona Collins, Herman Sisneros, Josie and Kenneth Gariepy, Grace Evelyn Diamond; Uncles Ivan Stacy Jones and Cleatus Leonard; Aunts, Lola Mae Leonard and Rose Marie Diamond, and a cousin Niangela Jones.

He is survived by his loving parents George and Paula Diamond and Raymond and Vickie Sisneros of Amarillo. A brother Raymond Curtis Sisneros and wife Laura of Borger, two sisters Stephenie Mashburn and husband Dell Ray of Amarillo, Debbie Chowins and husband Billy of Borger; two step brothers Gregg Diamond and wife Kiersten of Amarillo, Glen Diamond and wife Marissa of Kingsport Tennessee, Shannon Purcell of Amarillo; three step sisters Shayna Purcell and Dayna Black of Amarillo, and Hope Diamond of Denton TX. eight nephews, Josh Mashburn, Jason Mashburn, Dustin Sisneros, Brandon Sisneros, Michael Evans, Richie Eakins, Hunter Purcell, and Zach Prosser; five nieces, Tiffenie Cook, Darya Cole, Jordan Cole, Miranda Cole, McKinley Black, and 15 great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Josh Mashburn, Jason Mashburn, Dustin Sisneros, and Brandon Sisneros.

Visitation will be in his home, 7904 St. Louis Drive in Amarillo, where the family will receive friends.

The family suggest memorials be to Hutchinson County Special Olympics in care of Chris McCollum, 203 Inverness St., Borger, TX 79007; or the Borger Satellite Work Shop, 28 Pantex St., Borger, TX 79007.
