Funeral services for L.G. "Stew" Stewart, 64, 108 Froma, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Casketbearers will be Mike Keller, Raymond Moore, Danny Robinson, J.D. Jeter, Bill Chitwood, Robert Watkins, Clifton Westbrook, Randy Tenell, James J. Witt, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Helen of the home; four brothers, Roy and Kenneth, both of Oklahoma City, Bob and Don, both of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters, Dorothy Walters of Burns Flat, Okla., Chalene Walter of Clinton, Okla., Sue Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla., one grandson.
He moved to Borger in 1947 from Clinton, Okla., retired from Phillips on March 1, 1982 after 35 years of service. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary, in 1977, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malcom Stewart and two brothers, Elmer and Jack Stewart.
