Virgil Lee Mealer was born on July 3, 1897 in Georgia to George Mealer and Molly Crews.
He is the brother of William Mealer, John William Mealer, Mary Elizabeth Mealer Carter and James Thompson Mealer.
Virgil's first wife was Margaret Mealer; she died of an abdominal tumor in 1919. His second wife was Ella B. Mealer (1895-1984).
Mr. Mealer died on July 30, 1966 at the age of 69 in
Travis County, Texas. he preceded Ella in death by 22 years; they are buried together.
