Funeral services for Herbert S. Sublett, local attorney who died at Ft. Lyons, Colo., early Wednesday night will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at the First Presbyterian church with the Rev. V.K. Aubrey, officiating.
All World War veterans are asked to be at the American Legion hall at 1:30 in order to attend the services in a body.
Active pallbearers will be L.J. Roberts, Sol Morgenstern, E.A. Thrams, C.H. Hipple, Norman Coffee and L.M. Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be L.H. Lozer, Henry Myers, Harry Willis, Bob Lindsey, Dr. I.C. Morris, and R.E. Andrews.
The American Legion will be in charge of benedictive services at the grave.
Mrs. Sublett sent her husband to the government hospital at Fort Lyons in the Powell ambulance but the ex-soldier and well known attorney died 24 hours later.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Herbert S. Sublett, and mother, Mrs. Josephine Shockey of North Kenova, Ohio.
Carver Funeral chapel is in charge of arrangements.
