BORGER - C. M. Tinney, 72, died yesterday in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Earl Skaggs, pastor, and the Rev. C. W. Parker, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Mr. Tinney, born in Checotah, Okla., had lived in Borger 35 years. He was a retired planning supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242 and the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby; a son, Harold Tinney of Fletcher, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jackson of Borger; four brothers, Frank Tinney, Allen Tinney and Leonard Tinney, all of Checotah, and Tuggy Benge of Sallisaw, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Okley Bedford of Porterville, Calif., Mrs. Alice Wise of Arlington and Mrs. Frances Fairchild of Tulsa, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
