Funeral services for Walter H. Toews, 65, of 300 Houston, are pending with Simpson Funeral Home. A resident of Borger since 1936, Toews died at 12:10 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.
He was born in Mound Ridge, Kan., March 17, 1905, and moved to Borger 34 years ago. He was employed by West-Tex Construction Co., until he retired recently. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby; two sons, Harvey H. of Houston, Wally H. of Amarillo; daughters, Ann of the home, student at University of Texas; three brothers, Frank H. of Penalosa, Kan., John H. of Halstead, Kan., and Henry H. of Mound Ridge, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Thiesen, and Mrs. Jay Harder, both of Big Bear, Calif.

Funeral services for Walter H. Toews, 65, are at 2 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church. The Rev. Kenneth Jones, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery directed by Simpson Funeral Home.
Toews died Wednesday in North Plains Hospital. He had lived in Borger 34 years and was a retired employee of Wes-Tex Construction Co.
