Fred Moses Nixon was born on October 8, 1893 in Killeen, Bell County, Texas to John Alfred Nixon and Martha Sabra Ann Broadaway.
He is the brother of:
- James Samuel Nixon (1874–1963)
- William Isaac Rosser Nixon (1878–1955)
- David Emily Nixon Manning (1880–1956)
- Alice Matilda Jane Nixon Collinsworth (1883–1980)
- Andrew Jackson Nixon (1885–1970)
- Worda Mae Nixon Cassel (1888–1972)
- Omer Richard Nixon (1897–1980)
- Ina Mae Nixon Richardson Wilcox (1898–1951)
- Mattie Nixon Williams (1909–1934)
- John Alford Nixon (1904–1996) (Half Sibling)
In 1921, he married Dovie Lee Evans and they became the parents of Fred L. Nixon.
Mr. Nixon died on November 5, 1959 at the age of 66 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. His wife preceded him in death by 26 years.
