Edgar Married Bessie Deats in 1931. They have 3 children from this union; Edgar Martin Belcher Jr., Fred Belcher, Bessie Rae Belcher Sloan. Bessie is buried at Dickenson Cemetery in Galveston County, Texas.
Mr. Belcher died on June 15, 1975 at the age of 65 in Austin, Travis County, Texas. He was married to Ann D. Belcher at his time of death.
