Escar Armstrong Rites Are Read
Mr. Escar F. Armstrong, 89, died Friday, April 18, 1975 at Parkview Hospital.
Services were at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, 1975 at the First Baptist Church in Kelton with the Rev. A.G. Roberts of Lefors in Kelton. Rev. A.G. Roberts of Lefors officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Born in Paris, Tex., Mr. Armstrong had lived in Wheeler County since 1911. He was a retired farmer and rancher.
He married Oapl [sic] Lee Wilkinson April 12, 1922 in Wheeler. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Pallbearers were: Tommy Bryant, Gordon Stiles, Leonard Rathjen, Edgar Blocker, Bill Hampton and Larry Hampton.
