WHEELER - Billy Sam Coberly, 73, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wheeler Cemetery with the Rev. Thacker Haynes, pastor of United Methodist Church in McLean, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Coberly, one of 10 children, was born Oct. 8, 1932, in Felt, Okla., to Perry Sam and Jewell Coberly. He married Sammie Lee Shipley on Dec. 13, 1952.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Coberly of Logan, N.M.; three brothers, L.B., Jody and Max Coberly, all of Bentonville, Ark.; two sisters, Mona Smith of Pampa and Judy Reese of Bentonville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
