Eugene H. Dobbs, 68, of Willis, died Tuesday, July 22, 1986, in Conroe.
Graveside services here held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, in Wheeler Cemetery. Rev. Paul Sauerbier, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, officiated. Arrangements were by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Dobbs was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was married to Sophia "Betty" Finsterwald in 1947 in Nuremberg, West Germany. He was a graduate of Fordham University and Fordham Law School in New York. He was a member of the New York and Texas Bar associations. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a trial attorney on the staff of the U.S. Chief Council of War Crimes in Nuremberg. He was a member of Willis Chamber and served on the Point Aquarius Water Board.
Survivors include his wife; and two daughters, Deborah Dobbs of Austin and Margaret Dobbs of New Waverly.
