*Obituary BOY DROWNED IN TANK
The Wheeler News-Review reports a most regrettable accident in the Corn Valley community. The small son of J.H Gordon, drowned in a water tank. Mrs. Gordon thought the boy had gone to the field and paid no attention to his absence from the house.
Later the body was discovered floating in the tank. It is not known how long he had been in the tank. Efforts of Doctor Smith at resuscitation were unsuccessful.
The funeral was held in Wheeler June 11th.
