Husband of Linda Trivino Ledesma
Rosary Service for Julian Ledesma will be 6:30 p.m. today, August 22, 2013, in Englunds Chapel. Celebration of life service for will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at Slaton's Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Mr. Ledesma was born on Dec. 20, 1951 in Olton, Texas. He passed from this life on Aug. 19, 2013. Julian moved to the Slaton area in 1967. He graduated from Slaton High School in 1970. Julian married Linda Trevino in 1972. He worked for State Farm insurance for 19 years retiring in 2008. Those who have preceded him in death include his father, Amadeo Ledesma; stepfather, Joe Ariaz; and brother, Lee Ledesma. Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Ruben Ledesma and wife Tina, Rocky Ledesma, and Melisa Benhassou and husband Adil; siblings, Ismael Ledesma, Rachael Garnica, Ike Ledesma, and Simi Ledesma; along with nine grandchildren.
