WHEELER - Carlos Roberto Montoya Hernandez, 18, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, in Kelton.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Eddie Josue Sapon officiating. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler.
Mr. Hernandez was born Nov. 24, 1988, in Chihuahua, Mexico. He had lived in Wheeler for five years, and was a senior at Wheeler High School.
Survivors include his father, Crispin Ramirez of Wheeler; his mother, Teresa Hernandez of Wheeler; two brothers, Julio Montoya and Pedro Hernandez, both of Wheeler; and a sister, Eunice Montoya of Wheeler.

Carlos Hernandez, 18, was a senior who played football at Wheeler High School. He died in an accident at around 8 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Farm-to-Market road 592 and Farm-to Market road 2697 in Kelton. The accident also resulted in the deaths of teenagers who had previously attended Wheeler schools: Benito Lopez, 19, and Jareth Cota, 17. A fourth teenager Daniel Deira, 17, survived, but remained in critical, but stable, condition Monday afternoon at Northwest Texas Hospital.
