December 24, 1960 - August 25, 2013

Mass for Mr. Manuel Mendoza, 52, of Wheeler, TX will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wheeler, TX with Father Nicholas Gerber, officiating. Burial will follow at Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Peppers Family Funeral Home in Wheeler, Texas.

Mr. Mendoza passed away Sunday, August 25 in Amarillo, TX.

Manuel Mendoza was born December 24, 1960 in San Francisco, Nieves Zacatecas, Mexico to the late Ramiro Mendoza and Maria Espino Mendoza. He married Maria Del Socorro (Mercado) on February 18, 1985 in Zacatecas, Mexico. They moved to Wheeler in 1985. Manuel was the Assistant General Manager at Wheeler Feed Yard, having worked there for 33 years. Manuel was a loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Manuel Mendoza is survived by his wife, Maria Socorro Mendoza; son, Erick Roman Mendoza and wife, Alejandra Muriel Mendoza; two daughters, Karen Mendoza, Carla Mendoza; one granddaughter, Carolina Belen Mendoza; 7 brothers, Francisco Mendoza, Javier Mendoza, Arnulfo Mendoza, Jacobo Mendoza, Ramiro Mendoza, Arsenio Mendoza, Erman Mendoza; 5 sisters, Irma Mendoza, Ermila Mendoza, Efigenia Mendoza, Mavra Mendoza, Amparo Mendoza.
