Glen Dale Miller was born in Wheeler, on January 12th, 1944. He resided at Wheeler for two years and moved to Hereford where he lived for three years before moving to Pampa, where he lived at the time of his death. He was seriously ill the past three months and passed away in Pampa on April 18th, 1957 at the age of 13 years, three months and six days.

All of his school years were spent in Pampa.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Wheeler, April 19th, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa assisted by Rev. Carlton Thomson officiating. Interment was in the Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Kirk Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers were: Charles Hampton, G. B. Anderson, Gene Anderson, Dearl Ray Miller, Dudley Miller, and Dommer Miller.

Survivors are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Miller of Pampa, one brother, Joe Duane of the home. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Miller of Wheeler and the maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Galmor of Wheeler. A host of other relatives and friends.

Special attendants at the services were five nurses from Pampa that had attended him during his illness.
