WHEELER - Cecil W. Richerson, 95, died Thursday, June 27, 1996.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Toby Henson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Richerson was born in Estelline and moved to Wheeler when he was a teen-ager. He married Hazel Bessie Bolton in 1924 at Wheeler. She died in 1995. He also was preceded in death by a son, Cecil "Red" Richerson Jr., in 1957; and a daughter, Betty Jean White, in 1982.
He was the owner and operator of Richerson Grain Co. from 1945 to 1968.
Survivors include a son, Rondel Richerson of Amarillo; three daughters, Joann McWhorter and Phyllis Helton, both of Amarillo, and Ella Mae Wood of Wheeler; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
The family requests memorials be to Wheeler Public Library or the Wheeler Cemetery Association.
