*Obituary
Louis Vernon Sivage, 81, died on October 2nd in Parkview Memorial Hospital. Services were at 3:00 p.m. October 4th at the First Baptist Church. Rev. M.B. Smith of Pampa, a Baptist minister, officiated. He was buried in the Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mr. Sivage, born in Morgan Mill, Texas, moved to Wheeler County in 1926. In 1921 he married Audie Vinson at Morgan Mill. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, a son Olaf of Midland, four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Hunt of Ruidoso, N.M., Mrs. Ardie Martin of Wheeler, Mrs. Cuma Oldham of Portales, N.M. and Mrs. Edna Johnston of Alexandria, La., 3 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Charles Finsterwald, Milton Finsterwald, Thurman Horn, Travis Keelin, Ed Riley, Venson Smith and John Wright.
