Funeral services for Don Ray Snelgrooes, 20, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, were conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in the Wheeler Church of Christ.
Minister Joe Dukes officiated assisted by E.M. Borden.
Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Kirk Funeral Home.
Mr. Snelgrooes was fatally injured in an automobile accident at 10:30 p.m. Friday three miles east of Follett.
He was an oilfield worker and was married to the former Shirley Ann Thompson of Mobeetie, October 29, 1955. He had lived most of his life in Wheeler.
Surviving are his wife and a son, Ray; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.H. Snelgrooes all of Pauls Valley; a sister, Mrs. Retha Gordon of Pauls Valley; five brothers, Cecil of Twitty, Henry of Roff, Oklahoma; Thad of Garden Groves California, Truman of Long Beach, California and Tommy of Pauls Valley.
