*Obituary
Funeral services for J.C. Trout, who died at his home Sunday night at 7:20, were held in the Wheeler Baptist Church Mondy afternoon at 4 o'clock.

Mr. Trout, who was 92 years old, was well known here having resided here for about 34 years.

Mr. Trout was born November 7, 1851 in Cobb County, Georgia. He was married to Malinda Warren in 1875. To this union were born seven children, two who died in anfancy [sic], and a third, Mrs. J.K. Turner, who died a number of years ago.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Newt of Briscoe; Ben and Jim, of Wheeler; one daughter, Minnie Trout, of Wheeler; and ten grandchildren.

He moved to Wheeler County in 1909 from Oklahoma and has lived here since.

Rev. A.C. Wood, former Baptist pastor, conducted the services.

Pallbearers were Gus Jones, W.E. Burke, Boyce Farris, Clarence Crowder, Odis Ford and Hammie Herd.

Flower girls included Mrs. Hammie Herd, Mrs. W.E. Burke, Mrs. J.E. Willard, Mrs. Gordon Roper, Mrs. Ted Clay, and Mrs. Olin Pendleton.

Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery.

Relatives from out of town attending the funeral were Mrs. Ruth Wilhelm of Plainveiw [sic] and Mr. and Mrs. B. Turner and daughter of Clarendon.

Friends from out of town were Bud Page of Erick, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clark, Mrs. C.S. Bright and son, and Mrs. Madge Page of Lefors.
