Died October 10, 1901
From The Dallas Morning News:
"John Rockfeller, aged 15 years, died yesterday morning at the Buckner Orphans' Home of tuberculosis. He had lately arrived at the home from New Mexico."
While it can not be known for certain that John was buried in one of the Buckner cemeteries, it is most likely he was. Those cemeteries no longer exist. The Memorial Park was created as a memorial place. John's name is on the memorial monument seen in the photo added by James Ellis.
