Died March 10, 1897
From The Dallas Morning News, March 11, 1897:
"The city annex of Buckner Orphans' Home was closed yesterday all day on account of the death of Leslie Williams, one of the little wards. The matron, Mrs. Walker, and all the little fellows, went with the corpse, preceded by Dr. Buckner and Mrs. Beddo*, the girls' matron, to the cemetery at Country Home, and the little sleeper was laid to rest among the other orphans' graves. Appropriate religious serivices were conducted, the singing being done by the well trained children of the institution."
