HEREFORD - Daniel H. Amador Sr., 74, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today in La Iglesia de San Jose with the Rev. Mace Saenz, pastor of Without Walls Praise Center, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Amador married Felicitas Hernandez in 1947 in Mexico. He had farmed for 40 years.
Survivors include his wife; eight daughters, Janie Guerra and Rosie Gonzalez Ramos, both of Cactus, Lupe Shelby of Friona, Maggie Goff and Mary Goff, both of Hereford, Sylvia Guerra of Amarillo, and Carmen Cuellar and Anna Amador, both of Dumas; a son, Daniel Amador Jr. of Hereford; a brother, Jose Amador of Juarez, Mexico; two sisters, Sara Argumaniz of Juarez and Antonia Martinez of Galveston; 31 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Kings Manor Westgate Methodist Home, 400 Ranger St., Hereford, TX 79045.
