Mack E. North of Slaton departed this life Wednesday, June 2, 2004, in Slaton at the age of 70 years.
He was born Nov. 6, 1933, in Cordel, Okla., to the late Arthur Edward and Velma Haws North.
Those left to mourn his passing include his wife, Romaine North of Slaton; two sons, Kenneth Michael North of Lubbock and Jay Wayne Parrish of Slaton; four daughters, Donna Darling of Levelland, Vickie Staudenraus of Slaton, Cassie and Melissa North, both of Lubbock; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Westview Baptist Church in Slaton with Chaplain Bruce Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home of Lubbock.
