CANYON, March 1 - Funeral services for Miss Ernie Bippus, 75, of 2619 2nd Ave., were scheduled to be held at 3:30 p.m. today in LaGrone Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Strauss Atkinson, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was to be in the West Park Cemetery in Hereford under direction of the LaGrone Funeral Home.

Miss Bippus was found dead in the backyard of her home at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday. She apparently had died sometime Tuesday night.

She was born Sept. 10, 1886, in South Dakota and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She had been a resident of Canyon since 1938.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. G.T. Drummond of Emporia, Kan., four nieces and three nephews.
