HEREFORD - Jesus Castillo Sr., 80, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010.

Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today in Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. David Contreras as celebrant. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.

Mr. Castillo was born June 7, 1929, in Mexico to Atilano and Candelana Morales Castillo. He married Dolores Camacho on Dec. 7, 1984, in Hereford.

Survivors include his wife; 14 children, Lisa Gonzalez, Gloria Grajeda, Norma Ortiz, Juan Castillo, Jesus Castillo Jr., Gilbert Castillo, Juventina Castillo and Enedelia Zavala, all of Hereford, Jose Castillo, Armando Castillo, Mike Castillo and Maria De Jesus Castillo, all of Houston, and Elida Ruiz and Elena Vargas, both of Amarillo; four stepchildren, Rosemary Sherrill and Vicente Trevino, both of Amarillo, and Ray Trevino and Frank Trevino, both of Hereford; his brothers and sisters, Virginia Perez, Maria Lusia Gonzalez, Norma Alicia Salinas, Enrique Castillo and Onesima Guadalupe Castillo, all of Mexico, and Ruberta Ramirez of Hereford; 50 grandchildren; and 76 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Odyssey Health Care & Hospice, 6900 W. Interstate 40, Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106.
