Gentry Boy Dies
Young Son of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Gentry Is Victim of Short Attack of Influenza. Burial Made In Local Cemetery Wednesday.
Hereford friends were shocked Tuesday evening to learn of the sudden death of M.O. Gentry, ten-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Gentry, which occurred at their home here. The boy died after a short illness of influnza.
M.O. Gentry was born in Chilicothe, Hardeman county, Texas, on September 29, 1917. With his parents, he moved to Hereford about four years ago.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. O.M. Reynolds at the Church of Christ at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and burial was made in the cemetery here.
