HEREFORD — Eliseo Gomez, 73, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, in Amarillo.
Prayer services will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Rix Funeral Chapel. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Rix Funeral Chapel with Bonifacio Gomez officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Gomez was born May 10, 1938, in Denton to Jose Gomez and Elvira Martinez Gomez.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia Lara, Peggy Garcia and Rhonda Beruman, all of Hereford; five sons, Eli Gomez, Eliseo Gomez Jr., Robert Gomez and Randy Gomez, all of Hereford, and Ronnie Gomez of Lubbock; three brothers, Natividad Gomez of Albuquerque, N.M., Victor Gomez of Utah, and Bonifacio Gomez of Fort Worth; 48 grandchildren; and 66 great-grandchildren.
