HEREFORD - John J. Knoll, 93, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in West Park Cemetery with Joe Shultz, chaplain of King's Manor, officiating. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.

Mr. Knoll was born Jan. 18, 1914, in Mandan, N.D., to John and Rosa Wirtz Knoll. Lt. Knoll served in the U.S. Navy from June 27, 1943, to July 18, 1946, when he was honorably discharged.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Kirkeby of Amarillo.

The family suggests memorials be to King's Manor Methodist Home, 400 Ranger Drive, Hereford, TX 79045.
