*Obituary
Charles Walter Seed, aged 32 years, nine months, and twenty-three days, died Tuesday, February 10, of pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon, February 12, from the Black Undertaking Parlors, Rev. W.H. Terry of the Methodist church officiating. The pall bearers were Glenn Snyder, Walter Dunlap, Jesse Stanford, J.P. Slaton, George Garrison, John McLean, Harley Neal and Luther Hough.

Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Seed, of Lawrenceville, Ill., parents of the deceased, arrived in time to attend the last sad rites.

In addition to his parents, MP. [sic] Seed is survived by his wife and four children, four brothers, Morris, Mack and Harley of Lawrenceville, and Harry, of Hereford, and one sister, Miss Nellie Seed, of Lawrenceville. Mr. Seed was married to Miss Ryan [sic], of Lawrenceville, in 1911.

Mr. Seed was an irrigation farmer and was beginning to develop a very fine plant south of town. Both he and his wife had established themselves in the affections of a large portion of the community, and his sudden and untimely loss, is a severe blow to his host of friends and acquaintances.
