Stanley Slagle, 51, of Guthrie, Okla. died Friday in his home.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Rose Chapel, conducted by Doc. Weldon Butler, pastor of First United Methodist Church, under the direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Slagle was born on July 7, 1934, in Amarillo. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Slagle of Hereford.
Brought to Herefod [sic] as an infant, Slagle was a resident of Hereford for most of his life.
Slagle married Wanda Cornelius Underwood, on April 14, 1974, in Hereford. He was a horse rancher and member of First United Methodist Church in Hereford.
Survivors are his wife, Wanda of Guthrie, Okla.; three daughters, Monica Ingle of Tulare, Calif., Stacy Tomberlin, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Stana Slagle of the home; one stepson, Brian Underwood of Hereford; his mother, Billie McCauley of Edmond, Okla.; one brother, Steve also of Edmond, Okla.; one sister, Patsy Ireland of Cedar Crest, N.M.; and three grand-children.
