Pampa - HELEN JOSEPHINE RIDINGS DYER, 76, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006, in Amarillo.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in White Deer Cemetery in White Deer with David Minson, Church of Christ evangelist of Lubbock, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Ridings was born Feb. 5, 1930, in Canadian. She married B. B. "Bo" Dyer on Jan. 12, 1950, in Memphis. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1999. She was a resident of Pampa since 1951. She was a member of Church of Christ, attending the Wells Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Troy and Laura Alice Ridings; a grandson; six sisters; and four brothers.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda Dyer Baldridge and husband Bill, Alice Dyer Wesbrooks and husband Mike, Deborah Dyer Stroud and husband Larry, Carol Dyer Richmond and husband Phil, and Laura Dyer Baird, all of Pampa; five sons, Richard Dyer and wife Meloney, and Perry Dyer and wife Kevlyn, all of Amarillo, Denver Dyer, Michael Dyer and wife Lynda, and Tarell Dyer and wife Carlyn, all of Pampa; a sister, Eleanor Fuqua of Brewton, Ala.; 27 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
