Jack H. Kuhlman, 85, of Lenorah, Texas, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2007, in a Big Spring, Texas, nursing home.

He was born Sept. 7, 1921, in Springer and married Ina Faye Fryar June 17, 1944, in Big Spring. She preceded him in death Jan. 27, 2006.

Jack had lived in Lenorah since the early 1940's, where he fulfilled his lifetime goal to live and work on a farm. He loved fixing things and gardening. He was a member of the Lenorah Baptist Church and had served as a deacon and treasurer for over 40 years. He served in the Army Air Corps and served as president of the Martin County Farm Bureau for many years.

Survivors include four daughters & three sons-in-law, Charlotte and Richard White of Lenorah, Carolyn Reynolds of Stanton, Texas, Sharron and Eddie Odom of Waco, Texas, and Ronda and Benny Klein of Cedar Hill, Texas; one brother, Bill Kuhlman of Springer; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, and one son-in-law, Royce Reynolds.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Rev. Leandro Gonzales, pastor of Lenorah Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

The family received friends Thursday at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory.
