Born in Indianola, Calhoun Co., Texas, Adolph Henry Mahler was the son of German immigrants Charlotte Wilhamina Abel and John Mahler Sr and the husband of Tempie Texas Reader. Adolph shares an additional stone with his wife Tempie in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lavaca Co., Texas.
