Born in Wisconsin, Peter Joseph Mahler was the son of German immigrants Charlotte Wilhemina Abel and John Mahler Sr. He married Lydia in Texas in 1910. It does not appear that they had any children. Peter died in Concrete, DeWitt Co., Texas.
