Casualty of WWII, George was a Leading Aircraftman in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve; Service No:1345200.
He was the son of George and Helen Hanson, of High Bonnybridge, Stirlingshire. Scotland.
He died while training in Texas at the British Flying Training School (#1 BFTS) aged 20.

Inscription:

Purer Than Gold."
