HENDERSON - Services for Franklin D. Roquemore Sr., 65, of Henderson, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Mount Rose Baptist Church, with the Rev. W.L. Lucky, the Rev. Tony Zinnah and the Rev. H.F. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Strong Cemetery. Arrangements are by Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Roquemore died July 19, 2008, in Tyler.
Born January 26, 1943, in Henderson, he was a lifelong Rusk County resident, retired from Citizen National Bank and member of Mount Rose Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Bradford Roquemore; sons, Franklin Roquemore Jr. and Mack Harris; daughters, Shellie Roquemore and Reshonda Roquemore; brothers, James L. Lampkin, Don Roquemore and Tommy Roquemore; and sisters, Pauline Roquemore, Kayann Lomax and Bonnie Medford.
