Additional Cemetery Info...
From the intersection of Hwy 59 and Hwy 77, travel west on Hwy 77 for about 10 miles, turn right onto CR 2120. This cemetery is on private property, belonging to Majorie McWhorter. There is a gas pipe line that runs about 30 yards west of the cemetery.
The best access is to use the pipe line right of way. To get to the pipe line you must cross Roger McCall's Ranch. Go 4/10 mile to wire gate across road; go 2/10 mile, turn right in front of old
homeplace, turn on first left on field road, follow this road across a pasture and along a fence. At 4/10 mile there is a stream to cross; follow field road to top of hill; at 1/10 mile there is a pipe line gate. The marking on the gate says "Warning Poison Gas". Natural gas pipe line T-60, call 1-800-245-7756 in case of emergency. Go south up the highest hill approx. 300 yards. The cemetery is in a clump of trees at the top of the hill on the left
about 30 yards. The timber around the cemetery has been cut and the brush and briars are thick. Once among the trees, in the cemetery the underbrush is not so bad but the graves are difficult
to locate. Both blacks and whites are buried here.
Roger McCall lives in the first house on the left after you've turned right on to CR 2120.
