Leonard Casey was born to Lee Andrew Casey and Hattie Barnett Casey in Lamar County, Texas. As a small child, after the death of his parents, he was reared by his Aunt and Uncle, Jesse and Lela Mae Casey Stewart. He married Emma Gene Tooley on July 18, 1942 and they had one son, Samuel Edward Casey.

Emma was born July 6, 1923 in Wilbarger Co., Texas. She was the daughter of the late Sam H. Tooley and the late Vera Collins Tooley. She had three sisters, Sammie Lois, Francis Marie and Teresa Jo; and two brothers, Joseph Alvie and Cecil Hunter.
She married Leonard Casey on July 18, 1942 in Vernon, TX. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2001. She had lived in Vernon most of her life. She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School and member of the Church of Christ. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by:
One sister, Frances Ketchersid of Vernon, TX.
One brother, Cecil Tooley of Weatherford, TX.
Numerous nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Edward Casey, September 11, 1986.
Visitation will be Friday, November 4, 2011 at 1:30 to 2:30 Pm at Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials can be made to Locket Church of Christ of Hospice of Wichita Falls.
Pallbearers will be Tony Mayer, Lyle Bonner, Richard Locket, Jimmy Ketchersid, Bobby Ketchersid, and Terry Jones.
GRAVESIDE: Friday November 4, 2011, 3:00 - PM at Eastview Cemetery
