Minnie R. Royster, 69, of DeKalb, Texas, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2013, in Texarkana, Texas.
Ms. Royster was born Nov. 24, 1943, in DeKalb, Texas. She was a manager and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Karen Dansby and Debbie Royster of Las Vegas and Phyllis LaVoll and Joyce Lewis of New Boston, Texas; one brother, Clifton Murray of Texarkana; three sisters, Bettye Henry, Mary Cooper and Verdell Gray of DeKalb; one special granddaughter, Kimiya Love; two aunts; one uncle; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clifton Murray officiating. Burial will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery, DeKalb, under direction of Richardson Hill Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
