Wendy Gale Anders, age 36, of Mount Vernon passed from her earthly life into the Heavenly realm, where she was reunited with her mother, Wanda Gale Fitzgerald, on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Wendy was born to Mr. Orville Ray Anders and the late Mrs. Wanda Gale Mosely Fitzgerald on January 20, 1979 in Mount Vernon, TX. Though her life here on earth was short, she was a blessing to her children, family and friends. Wendy loved spending time with her children and family, and she loved all types of music with alternative music being her favorite. She enjoyed her friends and she was a free spirited person who just loved life. Of her many qualities, loving her children was her greatest.Wendy is survived by her five children: three sons, Jacob Taylor Marlar of Iowa, Matthew Joseph Anders of Jefferson, TX, and Jerry Ray Welch Jr. of Alvarado, TX; two daughters, Mackenzie Denise Welch and Whitney Ann Welch of Alvarado, TX; her father Orville Ray Anders and step mom Amelia Anders of Winnsboro, TX; one sister, Stacy Gray and husband Tommy of Mount Vernon, TX; two nieces, Alison Gray and Kelli Cullum; two nephews, Tommy Gray Jr. and Ethan Gray; and one grandmother, Joyce Jones. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Joe Mosely; paternal grandparents, Orville M. Anders and Lillie L. Anders; and three uncles and one aunt.Graveside services for Ms. Anders will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cypress Cemetery with Pastor Eldon Hamilton officiating. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Welch, Casey Marlar, and Michael Agueros. There will be a visitation on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
