She was born in Quitman on October 29, 1946 to the late Looney and Maggie Dyer Phillips.
She was a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church in Quitman, and worked as a teachers aide at Winnsboro Elementary. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Jordan in 2001.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Noce and husband Christian of Arlington; sister, Mary Wall of Quitman; step-mother, Jimmie Phillips of Quitman; brothers-in-law, Jerry and Ella Jordan of Winnsboro, J.C. Jordan of Winnsboro; sister-in-law, Connette Spence of Quitman; granddaughters, Gabby Smith and Alyssa Noce; and numerous nieces and nephews.
