Calista Pynes was the daughter of Fair Pynes and Mary Anna Creech Pynes. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Pynes and Rutha Knotts Pynes. Her maternal grandparents were David Creech and Jane Cone Creech. She was born on the family plantation in Alabama. Her father died when she was 12 years old in 1853. She married John Augustus Robson, November 28, 1869. They were parents of Annie Ursula, Fair Jessie, & Vantoria Robson. Calista is the grand daughter of DAR Patriots. Calista is at rest in Providence Cemetery.
